Job description

Manipulate controls to set, activate, and adjust machinery; Operate or tend self-propelled equipment and implements (much of which are equipped with GPS) used in agricultural production such as tractor, combine, tillage tool, grain cart, etc. for duties such as fertilizing, planting, spraying, weeding, harvesting, storing crops such as wheat, soybeans, corn; Drive trucks to haul crops, supplies, tools to or from storage or market facilities; Observe and listen to machinery operation to detect equipment malfunctions; Adjust, repair, and service farm machinery and equipment; Load and unload crops using transfer augers; Clean work areas.
