Job description
Workers will be required to walk behind a tractor pulling an automatic planter to straighten sugarcane in rows and at the end of rows. Some hand planting, walking behind a tractor pulling a cane wagon and pulling 3 to 4 stalks of cane from the wagon and planting in rows. General farm labor such as but not limited to: shovel, drainage, minor repair and maintenance & cleaning farm vehicles and equipment, field sanitation duties, keeping the field, shop area, house etc free of debris and keep the house and shop area clean and neat. Workers may be drug tested post-hire at no cost to the workers to ensure worker safety and to keep in compliance with workers compensation guidelines. Failure to comply or testing positive may result in immediate termination. Workers will be required to follow all work and safety rules. Workers must be physically able to perform all duties described.
