Ag Equipment Operator

Job description

General farm maintenance. Harvest crops. Fall field work. Clean and condition grain used for seed the following season. Assist with the arrival of farm inputs including but not limited to fertilizer, chemicals, fuels, etc. Assist in the application of field fertilizers. Assist in the planting of crops for field production. May have to drive to town for supplies.

Crops: Barley, Beans, Canola, Corn, Dry Beans, Dry Peas, Durum, Lentils, Oats, Pinto Beans, Small Grain, Soy Beans, Spring Wheat, Wheat

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 60 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
