Job description
General farm workers needed for crawfish farm. Crawfishing involves manually cutting of fish bait, baiting and checking of traps; workers may also assist with loading of trucks at the end of each day, operate motorized crawfish boat and must be in good physical condition. Help with minor repairs and maintain farm equipment & shop; make & repair crawfish cages, field prep, checking & maintaining water levels in fields. Also involves lifting 40 lbs; frequent stooping; repetitive movements and working outside in inclement weather conditions. Housing provided on the premises at no cost. Tools, supplies & equipment provided at no cost. Workers may be subject to random drug screen paid by employer upon hire or id suspicions arise--this is a drug free work zone. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
