Heavy And Tractor-trailer Truck Driver

Job description

Workers are recruited to work at SunRay Farms, LLC and will be assigned as needed to meet the needs of the employer.
Truck Driver must be able to speak, read, and understands English well enough to fill out daily paperwork, understand load sheets, talk on the phone, speak with English speaking customers and vendors, and follow instructions given in English.
Driver Job duties:
• Drives preloaded orders to their destinations
• Fills out all company paperwork accurately
• Refuel and clean vehicles
• Log daily inspection reports
• Plan routes using GPS devices
• Drivers are required to inspect trucks before the first trip and after the final trip of their shift and report the condition of their truck and trailer.
• Service truck with oil, fuel, and radiator fluid to maintain the tractor-trailer.
• Drivers wait inside their truck while the truck is being loaded and then drive the load to the farm.
• Manage routes and routines so they proceed in the most efficient way.
• Comply with all DOT and in-house rules and regulations.
• Keep truck and equipment sanitized, tidy, and in good working order for the next person.

Special Requirements

Worker must possess 12 months of truck driving experience.
