Job description
Perform general landscaping/maintenance and clean-up work. Mowing, trimming, weed control, fertilizing. Plant trees and shrubs. General labor and property maintenance in asphalt/concrete recycling yards. The process of recycling creates a great deal of dust which requires wash-down of roads and equipment using high pressure water hoses. Also in the process, any steel that is in the concrete gets removed in the crushing process. This results in small pieces of wire mesh being scattered in the work area. After the crushing company moves out of the yard, the workers clean up the wire mesh pieces. The workers also clean the mortar off of the bricks and landscape cobblestones for resale.
Special Requirements
Ability to lift up to 60lbs. Random drug testing post-hire at employers expense for all workers, both domestic and H-2B workers. Saturday work when required.
