Sports Complex Attendant

Job description

Perform variety of attending duties at club sports pro shops and wellness facilities. May schedule use of recreation facilities, maintain and provide equipment to members for fitness and recreational events. Records details of sales, receipts, reservations, and equipment repairs. Provide members with information about facilities, rules and regulations. Maintains cleanliness of wellness and sports center and equipment, such as facilities, poolside equipment and golf carts. Rent, sell, and issue sporting equipment and supplies such as tennis balls and racquets, golf balls and clubs, and other sportswear and equipment. Inspects equipment to detect wear and damage and performs minor equipment adjustments and maintenance tasks. Maintain inventories of equipment, storing and retrieving items and assembling and disassembling equipment as necessary. Announce and describe facility events, tournaments, and promote pro shop and wellness center offerings to entice members to games and other entertainment. Schedule the use of recreation facilities such as golf courses, tennis courts, and poolside areas.

Anticipated days and hours of work per week: 35 hours per week (meaning no less than). All employees work at least 5 shifts per week. Typical shifts: 6 am to 2 pm, 9am to 6pm, 12 pm to 8:30 pm.

Special Requirements

Must be 18 years of age. Must pass pre-employment drug test (in accordance with companys Drug Free Workplace Policy).
