Job description
The Pastry Chef shall possess knowledge and experience in the making of French pastries and usage of baking equipment.
The Pastry Chef will be responsible for making and decorating French pastries which will be made and sold at Rivendell
Community, Inc's premises, be in charge of the kitchen area to keep it clean and sanitized according to Health Department
guidelines; be responsible for maintaining adequate supplies of all prepared products on hand and ensuring the proper storage
and refrigeration of the products. Minimum education and experience required: High School and with at least 12 months of
experience in making French pastries. Employer will offer 37.5 hours of work per week. Work hours and days will be Monday
through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM (including 30 minutes of unpaid lunch break). Work will start on October 1, 2023 through
July 31, 2024.
