Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties related to child/ren care only. This includes cleaning the child/ren’s dirty plates and sippy cups after use by washing by hand or placing items in the dishwasher. In addition, making sure the child/ren play area is clean for the child/ren, which includes putting away toys when not used. Placing dirty laundry pertaining to only the child/ren clothes in the dirty hamper after the day is over or as needed throughout the day. Disinfecting any toys that become dirty by using soap and water and ensuring the toys are clean for use.

Take care of and supervise child/ren.
Ensure the safety of the child/ren at all times.
Plan and facilitate a variety of fun, daily activities.
Light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, and picking up around the house.
Guide the child/ren in daily transitions from activity to activity, following the family’s schedule.
Explain implement house rules and provide emotional support to children.
Provide guidance, motivation, and support to children.
Help child/ren in problem-solving and working through challenges in a kind and respectful manner.
Set up the space for activities daily and clean up the space at the end of the day.
Proactively communicate with parents and provide updates as needed.
Supervise child/ren swimming, engaging in sports, and free-play activities safely.
Indoor and outdoor play
Carpooling or driving the child/ren to activities or playdates.
Reading to the child/ren
Organizing bedrooms/toys
Administering medicine with parents’ consent, if necessary
Maintaining logs for the parent
Working alongside parents in the overall development of the child/ren
