Job description
Bee hive worker, will suit up in protective gear which is provided to the employee. Employee will work with in the hives of bees, extraction and processing honey. Need to be able to lift 40 pounds. Must be able to bend, stoop and stand for long hours under extreme weather conditions. Workers will work with the honey bees to help maintain the health of the hives, routinely go thru and inspect the hives and also extract and process the honey. Workers must have a high school diploma and have at least 4 months beekeeping experience. They must also be able to lift 40 pounds and must be able to bend, stoop and stand for long hours under extreme weather conditions. The wage offer is $18.65 Hour.
Special Requirements
Work is performed outdoors in open fields and can involve exposure to sun, wind, mud, dust, heat, cold and other elements of the normal outdoor farm environment. Temperatures can range from 20 degrees F to over 100 degrees F during the period of employment. Workers should come prepared with appropriate clothing and footwear for the work and working conditions described.
