Job description
Perform general landscape maintenance including but not limited to mowing lawns, weed-whacking, blowing, raking, weeding, fertilizing, trimming, and pruning. Perform general landscape installation including but not limited to digging 6” up to 18” trenches with trenching shovels for the purpose of running landscape irrigation, installing irrigation pipe and drip lines, planting, staking, hardscaping, and mulching. Hardscaping includes installation of gravel under roof drippiness using a wheelbarrow and shovel. Assist supervisor and/or landscape foreman with equipment and job materials loading and unloading. Perform installation of mortarless segmental concrete masonry wall units and outdoor stonework.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift 50 lbs. A post-accident drug test is required. All drug testing is performed without regard to an employees citizenship or immigration status, and all testing is paid for by the company. We perform post-accident drug testing in the event of property damage over $500. Any individual (regardless of immigration status) who tests positive for drugs is ineligible for employment. Any H-2B worker who fails to pass their drug test will be notified of their duty to leave the U.S. and the appropriate government agencies will be notified. Performing drug tests protects the health, safety, and well-being of employees, clients, and bystanders. In our business, we operate powerful mowing equipment with sharp blades and edges, chainsaws, high-powered weed-eaters, and other tools that could result in the death or serious injury of persons if mishandled. For these reasons, we are unwilling to hire individuals who use drugs. Overtime is available, but not guaranteed. Raises/bonuses at the employer's discretion. Opportunity for higher pay depending on experience. Employer will make all deductions from workers paycheck required by law. The Employer does not assist with or provide housing.
