Job description
We operate a 2,500-acre farm where we grow corn, soybeans, and wheat. We need seasonal workers to assist with raising these crops. Employee would be required to assist with field prep, planting, spraying, and harvesting of crops. Employee will need to assist with irrigation systems including checking pivots and completing maintenance of repair of irrigation systems. Employee will operate farming equipment including tractors, grain carts, sprayers, and other farm equipment. Driving a pickup truck to haul crops from fields to storage. Employee will complete routine maintenance and repair of equipment. Employee will complete general farm duties including mowing, and cleaning equipment.
Special Requirements
Job requires extensive walking, sitting, pushing, pulling, repetitive movements, frequent stooping and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license. Requires 3 months experience.
