Job description

This role as kitchen staff includes cleaning and food preparatory tasks. The cleaning tasks will include collecting used kitchenware from all areas and loading them into the dishwashing machines. Certain items will need to be washed by hand. The dishes and equipment will need to then be store appropriately. This will be very important to keep up with during peak hours in order to ensure that there will be enough dishes at all times. Employees will also be responsible for reporting any equipment issues such as technical/performance issues and removing the garbage regularly. The food preparatory tasks that will be included are as follows: setting up and stocking the preparatory stations with all necessary supplies, preparing food for service, cooking menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff, keeping a sanitized and orderly environment, following all standard procedures for recipes and presentation as well as opening and closing duties for the day. Employee must have the ability to follow instructions and help with various tasks. Must have a basic understanding of English. Weekends and evening availability required.

Special Requirements

On-the-job training is provided. Storm Survivors 310 LLC dba Mimis 3rd Street Grille will provide workers with all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job at no charge. No experience is required. The job requires continuous movement, regular bending, lifting. Must be flexible, communicate effectively, speak clear English.
