Job description
Housekeepers will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all rooms, suites and indoor common areas at Gasparilla Inn & Clubs property, which includes vacuuming floors, rearranging furniture, dusting, replenishing linens and towels, disinfecting bathrooms, washing windows, making beds and washing and putting away dirty glasses. Transport dirty linens to laundry department and process all soiled hotel bed linens, terry and food and beverage table linens by in accordance to hotel's standards. Clean, press and finish staff and guest garments, as well as designated guest room fabrics and articles. Housekeepers may need to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Special Requirements
The petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least three (3) months of experience at a high-end hotel, resort, or private club. Applicant must complete pre-employment background check and drug screening. Applicant may be required to complete pre-employment covid-19 test if required under federal or state guidelines at the time of hire.
On-the-Job Training will be provided.
Shifts available 7 days a week including weekends and holidays. 7:00am-2pm / 9:00am-4:00pm / 3:00pm-10:00pm
Wage per hour: $12.93 - $21.00 based on merit and past experience. Overtime Possible Per Hour at $19.40 - $31.50
Employees may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of a discretionary season-end bonus, as well as service charges.
