Job description
Duties include the Tire Technician will be required to raise vehicles, including cars, pickups, semi-trucks, and tractors, using hydraulic and manual jacks. The Tire Technician will unbolt and remove wheels from vehicles, using lug wrenches/tire irons or other hand or power tools, separate tires from rims using a hydraulic bead breaker, and remount wheels onto vehicles. Workers will place wheels on balancing machines to determine counterweights required to balance wheels, identify tire size and ply, and inflate tires accordingly. Workers will be required to travel to farms to repair tires on-site, as well as in the shop. Clean workspaces, as required.
Special Requirements
Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs. repeatedly during the day.
