Job description
Provides courteous, efficient service to all guests and spa visitors. Greets guests at the Spa upon arrival. Provides consistent professional massage and body treatments in accordance with spa protocols and accepted certification practices. Effectively informs and educates our guests about specific wellness concerns. Answers guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously. Prepares and maintains cleanliness and order of specified treatment room for the day. Ensure the privacy of each guest. Assists in all areas of spa operation as requested by management. Ensures guest satisfaction by maintaining a clean and safe facility. Properly cares for equipment and uses proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls. Maintains a clean and organized spa by monitoring the facilities regularly, upholding the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law. Maximizes revenue and cash flow by promoting resort services, special spa programs, packages and upgrades when appropriate. Interacts with resort staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information. Upholds all safety standards.
Special Requirements
Have, or Ability to Obtain prior to start date, VT Massage License is mandatory
Have, or Ability to Obtain prior to start date, VT Massage License is mandatory, 500 hours of hands on massage training and education, No past marks for employee misconduct. Must be able to work with both male and female clients, Must be able to communicate verbally in English. Must be able to stand/walk up to 8 hours per day. Pre-hire background check required. References might be requested.
On the job training will be provided.
Shifts available 5 days a week including weekends and holidays. 7:30am-2:30pm, 8am-2:30pm, 1:30pm-8:30pm, 2pm-8:30pm, 1:30pm-7pm, 2pm-7pm.
Wage Per Hour: Commissioned with guaranteed wage of prevailing wage of $24.62 per hour. Overtime Possible at $36.93 per hour.
