Supervisory duties include training employees; assigning and directing service work during a shift; consulting with management staff regarding rewarding or disciplining employees; and working with members to address complaints and resolve problems regarding food, beverage and/or service. Duties also include watching assigned tables under supervision to detect any issues and making adjustments by assisting Wait Staff in taking orders, serving, and clearing tables, and following up on tables to ensure member satisfaction.

Captains will be responsible for setting up the dining room, taking and placing customers’ orders, carrying trays, serving food and beverages, greeting guests, and cleaning and clearing tables. May supervise up to twelve (12) Wait Staff. Please see job description for additional information.

Special Requirements

The Petitioner will consider for employment any person who possesses at least six (6) months of service experience in a fine-dining or high-volume environment at a high-end restaurant, resort, hotel, or private club.
