Job description
Assist skilled painters with the painting of exterior surfaces of residential and commercial properties. Duties include using, supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment. Apply protective coverings, such as masking tape, to articles or areas that could be damaged or stained by work processes. Fill cracks or breaks in surfaces of plaster articles or areas with putty or epoxy compounds. Need to be able to work extensively on ladders. Entry level; requires supervision.
Special Requirements
Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Work on ladders and roofs. Saturday work required, when necessary. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.
