Golf Course Maintenance Operator

Job description

Operates light motorized golf course equipment, greens mowers, triplex tee and approach mowers. Edges cart paths and bunkers. Mows fairways, green, tees and approaches. Operates weed eater. Trims trees and bunkers. Changes cups. Operates Bunker grooming machines. String trimmers, blowers and miscellaneous hand tools.

Shifts vary and range from 7:00 AM - 10:30 PM. (Will work weekends, split, and rotate shifts.)

Please note: Under the anticipated days and hours of work per week, we entered 7 hours per day because our business is open 7 days a week. But a worker will not work everyday. A worker will work 35 hours per week and will work weekends, split, and rotate shifts.

Special Requirements

Requires one month related experience or training as a golf course maintenance operator or similar position. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
