Shovel snow, grounds maintenance, such as litter cleanup and winterization of irrigation systems, and other duties as assigned related to facilities and roads maintenance, such as clearing roads and facilities of leaves, snow, or debris using hand tools or power equipment including but not limited to rakes, shovels, and snow/leaf blowers. Potential for fall and spring clean-up. De-icing and removal of snow from walks, driveways and parking lots for various residential and commercial properties, using hand tools such as snow brooms, shovels, and spreading de-icing solutions, including calcium chloride or rock salt by hand. May also use walk behind electric or gas snow blowers, as needed. A driver’s license is not required. If a worker has a non-commercial driver’s license, they may drive a crew vehicle as needed.

Special Requirements

Must be able to perform physical labor outdoors for up to 8 hours per day in all weather conditions, including cold, snow and rain. Some OT and weekends required. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
