Job description

The role of the cleaner is to clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met. Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas. Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaners and shampooers. Disinfect equipment and supplies, using germicides or steam-operated sterilizers. Polish silver accessories and metalwork, such as fixtures and fittings.

Must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds . Occasional bending/ stooping/ squatting is required. Must be able to understand and speak English.

Must be able to work any day Mon-Sun, average of 40 hrs/wk. Must be able to work any 8 hr shift within 8 am to 10 pm. Days off rotate, shifts vary, weekends are a must.

Employees must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving the whole body. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. This job requires continuous movement, regularly bending, lifting, pushing, must be flexible, be able to communicate in English and be a team player.
