Construction Laborer

Job description

Perform tasks involving physical labor to move/install factory built homes. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble and debris. Perform framing, roofing, sheetrock, subfloors, light painting, texture, wood work, spread gravel, lay grass/sod, drainage installation, irrigation and planting. Dig holes using hand tools or equipment with a max depth/width of 3 ft. Involves bending, stooping, lifting, sitting, standing and stretching on a frequent basis. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, work in extreme weather conditions. Possibility of performance based raise, bonus, overtime and Saturdays. 1 hr non paid lunch. Transportation provided to worksites from central location in Alvarado, TX. Employer may assist with finding and/or securing housing.
