Nursery Worker

Job description

Manually plant, cultivate, transplant and harvest trees. Duties also include operating tractors and skid steers, maintaining fields, ball digging, trimming trees, tying tops of trees, cutting trees, wrapping tree trunks in protective felt, preparing digging machines, driving trucks, packing trees onto trucks, unloading inventory, using watering system, trimming, watering, fertilizing, hoeing weeds and mowing between tree rows. Allergens will be encountered: hay, pollen, dust, etc. Must be able to lift and carry 75 lbs and have prior experience working with pinning and strapping balls. Post-hire drug testing will be provided at the employer's expense. Driver's license required.
