Job description

Attend to live farm, ranch animals that may include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Assist in birth deliveries; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Inspect, maintain, prepare, and repair livestock facilities, buildings, pens, yards, irrigation, and fences; Move bales; Operate or tend equipment used in agricultural production such as tractor for drying, raking, baling hay; Use hand tools such as t post driver, hammer, wire stretcher.
