Nanny/childcare Worker

Job description

The employee will have duties typically associated with a position of this nature. The tasks and responsibilities will include caring for three children. Main duties include preparing meals for the children, changing diapers, and dressing the children. The employee needs to have a patient personality and a love for children. As a byproduct of this responsibility, the employee will use items such as car seats, strollers, booster seats, high chairs, nail clippers, etc. The employee will also be expected to administer over-the-counter medication for infants, like medication intended to lower fevers or relieve expected pain: this medication will not require the direction of medical professionals, but it will require communication with the children’s parents, who will provide affirmative permission to give such medication. If there are medications required by children that are by prescription, the employee will not be responsible in providing that medication. The employee will have some inevitable duties such as cleaning areas of the house where they will eat, play and sleep each day.
