Job description
Prepare bulls for breeding; increase nutrient supply to calving cows and heifers to increase strength; prepare and clean calving facilities; sell yearling calves; Calve cows and heifers; Provide colostrum to calves at birth; Prepare shelters for calves and cows to protect from winter elements such as sleet, snow, frigid temperatures; Break ice in watering facilities; Number calves, castrate bulls, dehorn, and implant baby calves within hours of calf birth; Breed heifers and cows; Turn bred cows/heifers and baby calves out to grass pasture.
