Job description
Feed, water, herd livestock to pastures for grazing; examine cattle to detect diseases and/or injuries, doctor cattle as needed per disease or injury, assist with delivery and shipping of cattle, assist with vaccination, castration and branding of cattle during processing of cattle. Herding cattle in pens or manually restraining cattle on the range, fence work, repairs of water lines/water troughs, operate some machinery to feed cattle, clean pens, check and herd cattle on atv. Exposure to extreme temp, repetitive movements, extensive pushing, pulling walking and frequent stooping Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs frequently
Special Requirements
Experience as Range Worker May be required to submit a post hire employer paid criminal background check. Failure to comply or felony convictions that the employer reasonably believes will impair safety of others on the worksite will result in immediate termination.
