Job description
Do all preparation of getting pastures ready for summer heifers. Get heifers ready by vaccinating, ear tags, record number, fly tags etc. Move heifers to pastures. Examines heifers to detect diseases & injuries; assist with calving. Help raise heifer calves for next season’s pasture cattle. Repair & maintain farm buildings & fences. Drive & operate farm vehicles for farm use & on public roads. Lifting at least 60 lbs.
Special Requirements
Minimum of (6) months experience required. To comply with Federal, State and County regulations must be willing to obtain an appropriate drivers license within two months of employment. If applicant does have a license, applicant must furnish employer with current drivers abstract showing acceptable driving record.
