Job description
Respond to any maintenance repair requests, assess the problem, and repair or refer the situation to a supervisor for further action promptly.
Keep all property and equipment in good repair so guest satisfaction is achieved.
Be responsible for maintaining a bacteria-free and chemically balanced water environment for the pool and spa guests.
Provide basic repairs, service, and preventative maintenance inspections on all equipment.
Be responsible for the condition of all facility-assigned tools and equipment, including vehicles.
Respond to maintenance requests in cottages and meeting spaces.
Perform essential preventative maintenance on assigned equipment, light painting, torn carpet, missing ceiling tiles, leaks, etc.
Perform minor repairs on electrical, gas-fired equipment, and various appliances.
Handle minor plumbing problems such as clogged drains, backed-up toilets, etc.
Change light bulbs and ceiling tiles using ladders or a personnel lift.
Respond to mysterious odors and other safety concerns.
Unload and distribute inventory throughout the entire property.
Work alongside the supervisor in implementing electrical setups for large and small groups.
Special Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. This position is active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and move items over 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This employee will work in various environments, from offices to warehouses to cottages/housing. Temperature and humidity will vary, and noise levels will range from quiet to moderately loud.
All applicants must pass drug tests and background checks, including domestic and H2B visa employees in seasonal or full-time and annual positions.
Typical hours are 5:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. The specific days and hours of work will vary depending on scheduling and business level. Must be able to work all shifts. The business is open seven days per week, and weekend and holiday work will be required. A minimum age requirement of 18 years of age.
