Job description

Moving cattle from the summer pasture to the feedlot; haying and bailing for cattle feeding during the winter months; weaning; inspect livestock for illnesses and/or injuries daily; prepping barns and grounds for freeze.; moving cattle to calving pins; prep barns and cattle for calving; daily watering and feeding with hands on care; administer medicines and vaccines regularly; apply medication to cuts and bruises on the cattle; and spray livestock with insecticide. Prepping cattle to move back to summer pasture.
Clean cattle stalls and sheds on a regular basis. Drive to town to pick up livestock supplies. Working with the livestock, all aspects of reproduction and breeding. Employees will also assist in snow moving and/or removal on the farm.

Special Requirements

Regular class B drivers license required. The recruits will have 2 weeks to obtain a class B license, taking in consideration appointment availability at the Department of Transportation.
