Job description

Job duties include receiving crop for drying and storage at grain storage facility; disposing of spoiled grain; loading and unloading grain into trucks while keeping grain level; driving semi trucks for shipping crops from bins to market when needed; operating augers; and grain conveying equipment; monitoring grain moisture levels; preparing scale tickets; shoveling grain; and servicing storage equipment and grain shipping implements; and performing general upkeep of facilities. Employees must have or be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire; have basic English literacy and math skills; and 2 months of experience. Increase in pay or bonus may be possible depending on experience and merit.
