Livestock Worker/ranch Hand

Job description

Perform duties like: Unloading cattle. Opening frozen water tanks and springs. Snow Removal. Vaccinating cattle. Inspect cattle for illness/injuries. Maintaining feed equipment. Building/Maintaining/Rolling cattle fences. Working and vaccinating/inspecting cattle. Moving fence to other fields. Cleaning cattle barns. Feeding cattle. Drive to town to pickup cattle supplies.

Livestock: Beef Cattle

Special Requirements

Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Employer requires drug screen post hire at employers expense due to the liability of operating equipment. Failure to pass drug screen will result in termination of employment. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
