Job description
Herd cattle into working lots for vaccinations, breeding, injury, clamping, ear tag marking and disease identification; monitor and assist with birthing and illness prevention; mix and distribute with tractor all feed and supplements daily and in prescribed portions; examine animals to detect illness, injury, or disease, and to check physical characteristics, such as rate of weight gain; load cattle, commodities/feed onto truck to haul from one location to another; separate herd by age and sex when vaccinations are needed and marking; check herd daily for injuries, illness or any concerning matters to address; tend to all stalls care daily; repairs to livestock facilities.
