Job description
Job requires tending to livestock in the forms of feeding, examining, tagging, and processing; operating front loaders, ATVs, squeeze chutes, and farm trucks; conducting the repair and maintenance of farm equipment and fencing. The job will require workers to do the following tasks: feed cows daily, check cows daily, assist with vet visits, and assist with medication administration. Basic literacy and math skills along with 3 months of experience will be required. Applicant must have a valid driver's license. Moderate cell phone use will be allowed while working.
Special Requirements
Job will require lifting boxes of medication and salt blocks. Post-hire drug testing may be conducted at the employer's expense. Drug testing may be conducted to ensure the safety of the workers and livestock. The job will also require having a driver's license.
