Job description

Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Pump & Haul Water, remove ice from water tanks. Calculate and mix feed ration, and feed cattle. Maintain winter grazing fences. Inspect livestock for injury & illness. Snow removal, roll out bedding, removing soiled bedding. Assist with cows & heifers calving. Prep pens, barns & cattle for calving, clean barns. Prep feed equipment & feed bunk lines. Supplemental feed with hay & cubes. Working/placing mineral & vaccinating cattle as needed. Move/rotate cattle on winter grazing fields. Ship yearlings. Grind Hay. Prep & breed yearling breeding heifers. Prep & transport heifer pair to sale/buyers. Drive to town to pick up cattle supplies .

Special Requirements

Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Frequent stooping is required. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.
