Livestock Worker/ranch Hand

Job description

Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Deicing and cleaning water troughs; Cleaning and clearing out snow and ice out of food troughs; Mixing cattle feed; Checking cattle for illness and wounds daily; Administering medicine and vaccinations using syringes and needles as needed; Checking gates and fences at feedlot daily and repairing them as needed. Drive to town to pick up cattle supplies. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
