Job description
Attend to live farm, ranch animals that include cattle; Duties include feeding, watering, herding, grazing, castrating, branding, catching, and loading animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Assist in birth deliveries; Wean yearlings; Sort cattle for sale; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Move livestock and feed from one location to another; Clean and maintain animal housing areas; Inspect, maintain, prepare, and repair livestock facilities, buildings, pens, yards, and fences.
