Job description
Workers will operate a company-owned truck to transport livestock feed to and from sow farms, finishing barns, and gilt development barns. They will retrieve unused feed and ensure its proper disposal. Employees will also collect feed samples for quality testing. Workers will remove snow from around the farm. Workers will also be required to clean, sanitize, and disinfect all equipment and vehicles after each use and prior to taking them to another barn, ensuring biosecurity protocols are followed.
Special Requirements
3 months of experience working with livestock. Workers must be able to follow detailed biosecurity protocol. Workers must be able to lift and carry 75 pounds for 75 yards. Must have or have the ability to obtain a Class A Driver License. Must have a
clean driving record. Winter driving experience required. 2 weeks of training provided.
