Job description
Job duties include working with cattle in the feed yard which includes but is not limited to feeding cattle, moving them from one pen to another, and general care. Employees will operate equipment such as skid steer loader and hay grinder. Duties also include manual labor such as opening and shutting gates, watching over the hay grinder equipment, moving cattle between pens, working cattle in the chute, and administering vaccinations as needed. Employees must have or be able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire; 3 months of experience; and basic English literacy, reading, and math skills. Increase or bonus may be possible depending on experience and merit.
Employer will abide by all of Colorado's agricultural laws to include Senate Bill 21-087 ("SB87") and the Overtime and Minimum Pay Standards Order (COMPS order) #38
Special Requirements
Lifting may be required during feeding, watering, and other care taking duties. Employees will be working in cold temperatures.
