Job description
We purchased small, just weened beef calves to graze from (December to May) and sell to the feedlot. These calves require daily maintenance during this time period. Employees will assist with keeping the water supply clean and working properly, and breaking ice on below freezing days. Employees will keep hay feeders full of dry forage hay, complete wellness checks on each animal, clean feeding and weather shelter areas, and check perimeter fencing morning and evening. Employees will complete other general farm duties as assigned. Employer may provide pay increases for performance and experience at employer’s discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer’s discretion.
Special Requirements
Job requires a regular drivers license. Requires 3 months experience.
