Livestock Worker/ranch Hand

Job description

Perform any of the following tasks to attend to livestock such as: Operate loader. Mix feed and additives in feed truck. Feed cattle. Report sick or lame cattle. Open gates. Operate bale processor. Remove surface wrap. Put out salt. Chop & remove ice from water tanks. Snow removal. Maintain livestock related equipment, fences, corrals. Drive to town to pick up cattle supplies.

Livestock: Beef Cattle

Special Requirements

Minimum of 3 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
