Job description
Performs any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Moving cattle home from pastures. Moving hay home from fields and ditches. Maintaining Feed Equipment. Prepping barns and fences for winter. Feeding the cattle. Pregnancy check the herd. Working and vaccinating the cattle. Weaning the calves. Shipping calves to market. Snow removal. Opening frozen tanks. Prepping barns and lots for calving season. Calving begins in February, runs through April. Cleaning barns. Branding. Moving cattle to summer pasture at end of season.
Special Requirements
Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive pushing and pulling is required. Extensive sitting is required. Extensive walking is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
