Job description
Job requires previous work experience with cattle and/or livestock, grazing and herding. Employees will be feeding, handling, and tending to livestock health measures and
administering medicine if necessary; building and repairing property boarders; performing repairs around the shop and on equipment; grain, feed, and hay handling; moving cows; inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, buildings, pens, and yards; cleaning fence rows; and other various manual labor. Duties include operating various farm equipment necessary to livestock including, but not limited to, ATVs, chainsaws, grain and feed handling equipment, and livestock trailers. The employer reserves the right to increase workers' pay or provide bonuses based on tenure, performance, or other factors that are solely based on the discretion of the employer.
Special Requirements
Job requires having or being able to obtain a drivers license within 30 days of hire. Basic English literacy and math skills are required. Job will require periods when workers may be exposed to varying weather conditions and extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, stooping, bending, or repetitive movements. Criminal background checks may occur post-hire at the employers expense. These checks may be performed to ensure safe housing and work environments for all workers.
