Job description

Perform any of the following tasks to attend to livestock: Monitoring and assisting cattle herd during calving. Weighing, tagging and vaccinating calves. Monitoring herd for illness or injury. Feeding hay and supplemental feed to the cattle. Checking waterers and breaking ice as needed. Maintaining feed equipment. Snow removal or grading farm driveways. Working/sorting & vaccinating cattle. Maintaining fences. Drive to town to pick up cattle supplies.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
