Job description
General farm worker needed for crawfish, rice & soybeans. Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and farm roads. Rice & soybeans to include: field prep, water maintenance, planting and harvesting of crop, drive tractor. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps; operate push crawfish boat, frequent stooping and lifting traps, lifting requirement of 40 lbs., repetitive movements and working outside in inclement weather conditions, OT may be offered. All tools, equipment & supplies provided at no cost. Housing provided on the premises at no cost.Employees may make above hourly wage and or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience, may be subject to random drug screen paid by employer upon hire or if suspicions arise--this is a drug free work zone. Transportation & subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract. Must have legal authority to work within the U.S.
