Job description

Perform any of the following job tasks: Fall cattle work (pregnancy check, vaccinations, freeze branding). Fence maintenance. Shipping of calves to market. Snow removal. Preparing barn and calving pens for calving. Move cattle from grazing pastures to new grass. Preparing tractors & feed tub for winter feeding. Clean calving pens. Maintain water tanks (freezing). Maintain feed equipment during feeding. Observing herd for illness or injuries. Feed cattle. Observe weight of calves for sale. Drive pick-up truck to town for cattle supplies on occasion.

Special Requirements

Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Repetitive movements is required. Wage rate may increase with verifiable experience. Employer may reward exceptional work with monetary or other benefits in addition to those listed here in his sole discretion.
