Job description
Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties found in SOC Code 45-2093 Farmworkers, Farm, Ranch, and Aquacultural Animals such as: Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, buildings, pens, yards, water structures, feed bunks, corrals, and fences including brush beating grass; Drive trucks, tractors, and other equipment to distribute feed (hay) to animals; Maintain records on animals; Examine animals to detect diseases and injuries; Assist in birth deliveries from cows and heifers; Wean calves; Administer medications, vaccinations, or insecticides as appropriate; Break ice in water troughs; Move equipment or livestock from one location to another manually or using trucks or carts; Segregate and sort animals; Operate farm equipment and machinery such as tractors, skid steers.
