Harvesting and maintaining blueberry and pecan fields. The duties include cleaning before raking by gathering sticks and piling them up for the sticks to be burned. Also, disposing any debris of fallen trees within the rows of the field as well as harvesting the pine straw by raking it into small amounts and will be required to bale and tie the bale with the tools and equipment provided. The bales will be then loaded onto the semi-trailer that is onsite to be later distributed to vendors. Another tasks the workers will do consist in picking and harvesting blueberries. The worker will need to hand-select berries that are ready for harvest into a bucket, then will be asked to transport the bucket to the weigh cart. The worker needs to be able to perform this task for up to 6 hours a day and be able to withstand outdoor conditions. In the pecan fields, the worker will be asked to help maintain the field clean of any fallen limbs, trash, or debris, and assist with the removal and replacement of some of the pecan trees. After cleaning the fields, the worker will be required to harvest pecans into 5-gallon buckets to be then transported to designated areas and fill large sacks with pecans. Workers will also help in irrigation, repair, and maintenance across pecan fields with the tools and equipment provided. A task that will be available when harvesting work is not available will be performing miscellaneous cleanup work at the location of housing for harvesting workers, such as grass cutting, pruning, weed eating, and debris cleaning.

En los campos de nueces, se le pedirá al trabajador que ayude a mantener el campo limpio de ramas caídas, basura o escombros, y que ayude con la remoción y reemplazo de algunos de los árboles de nueces. Después de limpiar los campos, el trabajador deberá cosechar nueces en baldes de 5 galones para luego transportarlas a áreas designadas y llenar sacos grandes con nueces. Los trabajadores también ayudarán en el riego, la reparación y el mantenimiento de los campos de nueces con las herramientas y equipos proporcionados. Una tarea que estará disponible cuando el trabajo de cosecha no esté disponible será realizar trabajos diversos de limpieza en la ubicación de las viviendas para los trabajadores de cosecha, como corte de césped, poda, eliminación de malezas y limpieza de escombros.
