Job description
General farm worker needed for crawfish & rice. Help repair and maintain farm equipment, shop, fields, levees, and minor repair on fences along field roads. Field prep, water maintenance, planting and harvesting of rice, drive tractor, sweep bins; cleaning up rice spills, spreading rice in bins, assist with loading/unloading rice trucks & general maintenance of rice bins. Crawfishing involves manually cutting up of fish bait, baiting of traps; opérate Crawfish boat; repair traps, frequent stooping and lifting traps; lifting requirement of 40 lbs.;repetitive movements and working outside in inclement weather conditions. All tools, equipment & supplies provided at no cost,Housing provided on the premises at no cost. Transportation & subsistence expenses to the worksite will be paid by the employer upon completion of 50% of the work contract. Employees may make above hourly wage and or receive bonuses based on work performance and experience, may be subject to random drug screen paid by employer upon hire or if suspicions arise--this is a drug free work zone. Must have legal authority to work within the United States.
