Job description
Manually plant, cultivate, transplant and harvest trees. Duties also include operating tractors
and skid steers, maintaining fields, ball digging, trimming trees, tying tops of trees, cutting
trees, wrapping tree trunks in protective felt, preparing digging machines, driving trucks,
packing trees onto trucks, unloading inventory, using watering system, trimming, watering,
fertilizing, hoeing weeds and mowing between tree rows. Allergens will be encountered: hay, pollen, dust. etc.
Special Requirements
WORKPLACE RULES OF CONDUCT AND POLICIES:
1. Workers must comply with all rules relating to discipline, attendance, work quality and effort, and the care and maintenance of all employer-provided property.
2. Workers must perform work carefully and in accordance with
employers instructions. Failure to meet standards may result in
disciplinary action, depending on the degree of infraction and the
workers prior record. Subsequent offenses may lead to termination of
employment.
